Some facts about bamboo …

The bamboo plant can grow unharmed by insects and other pests even without the use of pesticides because of a toxin that it produces called bamboo kun that keeps pests away. Bamboo kun is toxic to pests but perfectly safe for people and pets. Bamboo is the fastest growing plants on the planet,  requires very little water and no fertilisers.

Bamboo absorbs five times more carbon dioxide and produces 35% more oxygen than a similar group of trees.

Some qualities of bamboo clothes …

suitable for all kind of temperature (keep you warm in winter and cool in summer)

The bamboo yarn is OEKO-TEX 100 certified, which means that the socks are free of harmful chemicals and are completely safe for use.

The producer is certified with Global Organic Textile Standard.

Recycled bottles polyester

In Slopes & Town they use  recycled post-consumer-waste PET bottles polyester processed with ReNEW recycling technology, which allows to use less resources (water, energy, etc.) than production of new polyester out of crude oil and, of course, helps to reduce the amount of plastic waste!
